And I will remember the words that you said, left a clouded mind and a heavy heart

My hand sowing is appalling, which isn't that surprising considering I've never really exercised the skill. It's been fine with my curtains, as the thread is almost invisible; meaning the poor sowing isn't actually seen. I purchased a green thread the other day, in hopes that it would perfectly match the jacket pictured. I've only just startet sowing the hem by hand, and it's definitely not a perfect match. The sowing is definitely visible, so my poor stitching isn't invisible. I've sown a bit of the hem now, and I'll definitely need to start over, but I've gotten to a place where I'm pretty happy with the stitches. I'm actually surprised by myself. As I'm a novice, I expect it'll take me ages to finish with something I'm happy with. At least I finished the curtains today. I did also happen to buy some green cotton yarn the other day. Realised that I haven't ever done any knitting with something that isn't wool. So I'm looking forward to give that a go. Jeez, I'm really giving myself a load of projects. That being said, it's a pretty rewarding hobby. I always enjoy the feeling of creating something. Work yesterday was quite good at first, but then it got a bit exhausting. There's fairly new doctors, and they tend to take awhile to make decisions. It's highly understandable, but it does make it quite busy when the decisions all tend to come at around lunch-time. I've had quite "heavy" patients the past week too, which naturally makes work tougher. After work yesterday I stopped by the store because I didn't want to go today. My plan was to buy another tube of the La Roche Posay Cicaplast Mains hand cream, but it was sold out. So I had to put an order in for the hand cream, only to go fetch it just now. Wasn't planning to leave the house today, but I ended up doing it anyway. I also got a bottle of thermal water and some self tanning body lotion. I'm pretty surprised at myself for the latter, as I've tried self tanners previously, but hated the smell. Haven't been able to get over the smell, and therefore have never been an avid self tanner fan. But the lack of travelling this year, and trying to stay out of the sun due to my skin issues, have made me desperate for some colour on my skin. We'll see, I've just tried a bit on my feet to test the lotion, and even just that tiny bit was overwhelming in scent. So who knows if I'll be bothered to actually use the self tan. I might also end up looking like a mess, as I've no proper experience with self tanning. But as with my sowing prowess, I'm sure I'll eventually learn how to do a proper tanning routine if I ever do commit to it.
