I taped my tongue to the southern tip of your body

I'm not okay with this. I'm generally not okay with Nouis at all, because they are so precious, and I value their moments the most, because they used to be so rare for a long while. And I'll always be a supporter of the underdogs. (sigh) Let me just melt into a puddle, yeah? It feels like ages ago since I've seen a new picture of One Direction, and they've only been on a break for one and a half week. It's like; after being able to see new pictures of them every day, you get a bit spoiled with pictures. And then it's nothing for days and it seems so long. Today was the launch of the One Direction perfume (!!). The thing about One Direction, is that everything happens so bloody fast. So you never really get any heads up before something's going to happen. The news about the perfume, especially; I think they announced it on Twitter today, and then they posted pictures of it (and 'Vined' it. I still believe Vine is the next new app). It's called Our Moment (click to see picture), and it's pink. The description says: "the fragrance has notes of pink grapefruit, wild berries, redcurrants, jasmine petals, fresh freesia, creamy musk, sheer woods and white patchouli". Um, what the fuck is "creamy musk"? I'll never understand perfume descriptions. Honestly though, the perfume looks horrible. Everything about it makes me cringe. The bottle is so ugly. It's so tacky and and just outright terrible. I'm sorry if I'm offending anyone, but it's my own opinion. Like-- is that supposed to be a crown?? And is that frill?? And the packaging makes me cringe too, because oh wow. Great pictures, yep, amazing (sense the sarcasm). I'm pretty sure we (the fandom) could photoshop better than that. Not to mention, choose better pictures. My favorite comments on it from Tumblr are: "I thought that picture of the perfume box was just someone’s shitty photoshop edit", "the 1d perfume comes out the week before 1d3d can you imagine how the theaters are gonna smell they aint gonna smell like popcorn no more that’s for sure" and "this looks awful. I NEED TO HAVE IT". But to be fair, I think most celebrities' perfume's are horrible. I quite enjoy a more minimalistic and "clean" look to a perfume. Whereas celebrities' perfume's tend to be a bit over-the-top, and tacky, and just too much. It's not like I'm not going to buy it just because it looks horrible. If it smells lovely, then that's settled. Can't judge a book by it's cover, can we? Nope. I think it's important to remember that just because you are a fan of something, it doesn't mean you'll have to like everything. I'm not going to buy a perfume that smells like shit (I hope it smells nice) just because it's One Direction. Apparently I really like We Can't Stop by Miley Cyrus. Not apparently- I do, considering the amounts of times I've replayed it. I don't think it's the most amazing song, and I think Miley Cyrus can do much better, but it's nice and reminds me of summer. And I do like it grossly more than the new Selena Gomez single. Hangover III was a bit disappointing as expected, but it was still hilarious. I keep remembering moments from the movie, and then laughing to myself. Also, highlight from watching the movie was when Sugar and Marble screamed. Honestly-- they screamed. It was hilarious, because I'm pretty sure we made the most sound and laughed the most. I'm just glad we basically had a row for ourselves, because my laughter isn't pretty. I also watched The Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, which is Kiwi's favorite movie. And I'm not at all surprised it's her favorite movie, it's like written KIWI all over it. It's rather confusing, and it took me awhile before I understood anything. But then the ending came, and I was like oh my god, yes, everything makes sense. I think the time was 1:00 am by this time. Instead of going to bed, I watched videos and read about the new Stokke models (Crusi and Scoot) and Bugaboo models in general. When the times was 2:00 am I sort of snorted at myself, because who in their right mind watches videos of prams/strollers in the middle of the night? (unless you're becoming a parent- that is a very valid excuse). I eventually stopped, because I was frightened that I might actually become obsessed with prams/strollers. I had a That's So Raven moment, where I could see myself sitting on a pathetic excuse of a bed in a ratty bedroom in some broken down apartment with dust and unopened boxes around me, watching videos of prams/strollers. I thought maybe I was going to bed then, but instead I started reading a long fan fiction. I didn't end up closing my eyes before the clock was 05:17 am. And as per usual, I was awoken at 12:00 am by my sister. So now I'm rather knackered, and I think I might go to sleep pretty soon. I say I think, because you never know when I decide to start on another fan fiction, or watch a movie, or go for a walk. But I'm pretty sure I'm going to bed, because I've not taken any naps either, so I am actually completely knackered. Oh wow, this is a really long blogpost. Or, more like a long rant. Oh well, bon nuit! 

ALTHOUGH MY WISH HAS BEEN MADE AND I FOUND YOU, I'LL JUST WISH YOU STAY BECAUSE I LOVE YOUR EVERYTHING

I'd say morning, but it's not, is it? I'm in this weird phase where I'm basically tired all the time. I can't remember the last time I've napped this much. And it's not the kind of tired where you're a bit tired, it's to the point where I'm swaying a bit. At least it makes things a bit funnier. Like today; Sugar, my belieber friend and I decided to Facebook- and Twitter- stalk my lecturer. But that would probably be funny in a fully awake state too, I guess. Anyway, I've finally finished reading The Catcher in The Rye, after starting on it months ago. I probably could have finished it in a day, but I've never had the time until now (as in; I had more important priorities regarding school). Also, the narrative is sort of really negative and it just gets too much for me sometimes. I'm not going to review it yet, just because I don't think I've fully comprehended the plot. I'm going to start reading To The Moon And Back by Jill Mansell. I went to the library on Monday and borrowed it, just because I think I need to read a chick lit. Something a bit lighter. I think I've read something by Jill Mansell before? Nevertheless, the description of her is absolutely hilarious. I don't know if you ever read those? In books you'll often find a picture of the author and a few facts about their life. The usual would be where they were born, live, any partner, education, etc. Well, in this it says: "Jill Mansell lives with her partner and children in Bristol, and writes full time. Actually that's not true; she watches TV, eats fruit gums, admires the rugby players training in the sports field behind her house, and spends hours on the internet Tweeting and marveling at how many other writers have blogs. Only when she's completely run out of displacement activities does she write". I think I can love this woman. So we (again; belieber friend and Sugar) went to Starbucks today, and I felt sort of really awkward standing in a bloody line to enter an overrated coffee shop, when I didn't even want a coffee. And I am allowed to say that without sounding like a hipster, because there were like these two guys who literally said "show-offs" while walking past us. It made me cringe, because yes. And then when we were seated, the whole place were filled with prams (or stroller if you prefer that), babies and their mums. At least I got to ogle prams and discuss whether a Stokke or a Bugaboo is the best. My friends thinks I'm entirely crazy, also that I don't want to be friends with them because I deactivated my Facebook, and that the only thing I do is tanning in the sun (naked, that is). (All in which are incorrect, except for the being crazy part). But!! I'm not going to absolute discredit Starbucks and hate it because it's mainstream (oh god that is such a hipster thing to do, innit?). I ordered a really delicious juice. I think it might have been mango and something else? I can't remember, because I never remember anything. But it was really good, and refreshing, considering I was absolutely boiling. Also, it was a really cozy place, and they had a lovely interior. And the employees were really lovely (but they might not always be, so, yeah). All I'm saying, is that Starbucks is inevitably just another coffee shop, but where they  mostly only specialize in coffee, and where they happen to write your name on a cup, and sells their own merchandise. And there are loads of other places to get good coffee, it just happens that Starbucks is a big hype. So here's the thing; Harry Styles owns his own house, probably a flat too. And instead of living in either of them, he goes off and lives with his friends (I reckon he'd say pals). Sometimes it's hard to not find Harry Styles endearing. Especially when he does things like that, and goes shopping in thrift stores, babysits and likes indie music (and is great pals with Grimmy). I'm going to go now, maybe go to bed a bit early, because I'm really tired, despite having a nap. Also, I'm hanging with Oyster tomorrow. 

in the rich mans world

I am so so glad that this day is over. I had this presentation today, and it's always so good to be done with a presentation, test or a paper. After school me and a friend headed to Oslo in order to switch some "russe"-stuff. And gosh, we spent an unspeakable amount of time just to find the darn place. In the end we finally made it. We had been walking for ages, and it felt so good to sit down on the train back home. However, it was a new part of Oslo for me. Never been there, and it was really nice. Full of business- and rich people though. People walking in suits with briefcases, and women strolling around with shoppingbags, and mothers strolling with their Stokke Xplory or Bugaboo strollers. It nearly shrieked "I'm rich". Well, as far as it can in Norway. Anyways, the weather was lovely! And I ended up walking home, because I didn't reach the bus. I just thought I could walk home rather than waiting on the next bus. Right now I'm rewarding myself for the hard work by catching up on all the videos I've been missing on Youtube.

my opinion on stokke xplory

The story

Yesterday I was at the mall with two of my friends, and we saw a Stokke Xplory. My friends were totally like "it doesn't look stable, what if the baby falls,  it's futuristic-looking and ugly". I, however, disagreed. Partly because we own one ourselves. Well, it's my nephews "stroller at my grandparents". I am honestly completely in love with it. It's like a big toy, really. I'm going to try to write an objective review of it. Also, the model we own is a 2006-model. The newest model has quite a few changes, although not immensely. According to the website, "Stokke® Xplory® fits around your baby, from top to bottom with every inch designed to enhance the experience of moving through the world together". This stroller has been designed with the thought of it "growing" along with the child.

The positive sides by Stokke Xplory

+ It's small and slender, making it super easy to stroll around in small places (the mall, or the city in general).
+ It comes in a lot of different colours, sometimes also patterns. This allows for a variety in choosing.
+ It's known for being very adjustable. You can adjust the elevation of the seat, handle, the seating positions. This will for example allow you to use the stroller as a seat by a table.
+ Adapters will allow you to replace the carrycot or the Xplory seat with a car seat.
+ The swivel wheels makes it easy to stroll around even surfaces.
+ To each their tastes, but Stokke Xplory is quite a sight, and appeasing to the eye (not so very objective argument)
+ Stokke Xplory have a lot of accessories that can be added to the stroller if wanted.  

The negatives sides by Stokke Xplory 

- Although the designers have been smart to produce a winter kit, the stroller in itself does not suit winter very well. This is due to the swivel wheels, which also are very small.
- It is a bit smaller than other combo strollers, which means the child cannot use it as long as other brands of strollers.
- It is very pricey. However, it is a high-quality product with a guarantee of three years.
- It does not have any shopping basket, though it does come with a shopping bag. It's also possible to buy another shopping bag. It is however, a lot more inconvenient than a shopping basket. (The Stokke Crusi and  Stokke Scoot does come with a shopping basket)
- It does not have any suspension, which makes it hard to drive on uneven surfaces.

Conclusion

Though it has a lot of downsides along with the positive sides, I am still very fond of the stroller. Because I live in a place with mostly even surfaces, it suits my environment well. However, when the Norwegian winter sets in, the stroller becomes a lot harder to use.
