Good morning to all of you nice people! I'm still listening to Sextet from Cloud Atlas. Very often when I watch a movie I enjoy, it's got a lot to do with the music. And I'm very fond of instrumental music in movies. The Untouchables? Pride and Prejudice? Up? Cloud Atlas? I could go on for a very long time, but the mentioned ones are a few of my absolute favourites. Yesterday, I think, I made a new folder for pictures, called "spring 2014". That's one of the positives about not having snow-- the spring seems to be closer, and I can't wait for this enormous tree outside my window to turn green. On the picture there's three of my favourite things. My baby pink jumper that once belonged to my mum. If I'm not wrong, we've got a picture of her wearing it when she was younger. The other is my sleeping bottoms, I guess? I'm not quite what sure they're called-- loungewear, is it? Anyway, they've got birds and flowers on them, and they feel lovely. The third is the Christmas present from Ale. For Emma, Forever Ago is my favourite Bon Iver album, and it's been on my wish list forever. I've been listening to the CD non stop for the past few days. Woke up and did some yoga to it today, in fact. On my new purple yoga mat too. These Christmas presents have come in handy, ha. I'm a bit stressed out because on one hand I have to do school work. And I seriously have to, because it's a group project, and I'll bring the others down if I don't do anything. On the other hand I really want to read PS, I Love You by Cecelia Ahern. I went to the library yesterday, and among the things I borrowed, the book was one of them. I have read it before. Once. Like, years ago. When we'd recently moved into this house, actually, and I remember sleeping on a mattress in the living room. Lynx and Grepper had just come home from their summer holiday, and Lynx gave me her used copy of PS, I Love You to read. And, I think that's what rekindled my love for reading. I've watched the movie a couple of times, but I've always been wanting to read the book again. And well, that's why I borrowed it from the library. Next weekend, I think, when I'm done with this first paper. And then I'll have the weekend to do whatever I want to do before "praksis" starts. I don't think I have time to watch Silver Linings Playbook now. Not if I want to get school work done and perhaps watch the last bit of Tour De Ski. I've honestly not watched that much of Tour De Ski. I only watched yesterdays because it was on the telly when I got downstairs in the living room. I don't know why, but I guess it just doesn't excite me as much as it used to? When I was sat eating my breakfast today, I realised mum had placed a mirror on the exact opposite place I was sat. So when I saw myself, I realised two things. 1. If I have a mid-parting, and tuck some hair behind my ear, I look a bit like an elf. Lord of The Rings, here I come. 2. My hair has grown very long. I usually sleep with a braid in my hair, so my hair is almost never completely straight. However, this weekend I've both had a mid-parting and straight hair, and my hair looks so much longer. Also, the colour in my hair seems like it's never going to fade. Last time I coloured it was in August, actually. My neighbour replaced the Christmas lights on his flag pole with a flag. And well, somehow that means the end for Christmas to me. Just because I've seen the lights each night during December, and it's just become etched into my mind, I guess. And now it's gone, so naturally, that must mean that Christmas is also done. Oh well, have a nice Sunday, and happy birthday to the birthday girl, Kiwi!
