light it up, like we're the stars of the human race

On New Years Eve, Kiwi told me one of my resolutions should be to get more sleep, go to bed earlier. I slept for six hours last night too. That's the third night in row. I told Kiwi this during a break between our lectures. And she sort of scolded me, and told me she was worried about my health-- by the things she's read on my blog. And it sort of made me smile, because how sweet isn't that? I think that's vital-- having people around you that care about your health and whatnot. But yes, she's also right. I think I'll have to make sleep one of my priorities this year. When I got to the bus station today, I had to fill up a new month on my bus card. I asked the guy in the booth to do so, and he said alright. And then he said: "that'll be 660", and I gave him the money, to which he said "dollars". "Oh, you've changed currency, then?" I answered, laughing. He laughed as well, and despite taking my money and giving me back the exchange, he said yes. I got my card and said bye. I don't know, I just found that really nice. And it made me smile, and despite the little sleep, it made my day start off really nice. Because I didn't have school before 11:30 am, the train was nearly empty, which is my favourite thing. Was sat listening to the playlist I made for Kiwi, and as we drove through the tunnel, I made faces at myself in the windows. Wore my new rain coat today, as it was meant to rain today. It's funnily by the same brand as my sleeping bag, Mammut, which is a Swiss brand. I got it for Christmas from Lynx and co. Speaking of coats and whatnot, though-- I'm looking at camel coloured ones online, and they're sooo pretty. Was actually ogling an older lady today, just because she was wearing such a pretty camel coloured coat. I get these really odd and specific obsessions, ha. Anyway, Kiwi and I had about five hours of lectures today. And in the lunch break, we met up with my belieber friend and Sugar. And then the kilo-gang was assembled, as per usual in our cafeteria. Oh, Counting Stars by OneRepublic just came on in my ear buds. Tune! (er, the expression means like "good song"). We had a lecturer today, whom I really dislike. I remembered her face at first, but I'd forgotten that I disliked her. But a few minutes in the lecture, I rediscovered my dislike for her. I mean, who wants to listen to someone who makes you feel stupid? No one should. Anyway, in the end we left before the last hour had ended, because nor I or Kiwi was actually listening. The train home was a bit different from the morning train, as it was rush hour. I managed to find a seat, and started dropping off because I was so tired. I always find it so tiring to sit on the train because we're basically driving through a tunnel for the whole ride. When I got on the bus, there were so many people, so I decided to not sit down in a proper seat. I do that most of the time, because I have such a short bus ride, I don't see the point in settling down in a seat unless it's straight by the door. At a stop, there was a lady with a stroller, and I gave up my space for her to place the stroller. And I got to test out my abilities to stand on the bus. As the same lady struggled to get the stroller out of the bus, she shouted for the bus driver to help her. A lady and I was standing right beside her, so I offered her my help, and clumsily helped her lift the stroller out of the bus. That's my good deed of the day. Whilst standing in the bus, I realised that it had been snowing outside. The ground was covered in white snow, and I didn't know whether to be excited or not. My brain is still somewhat preparing for Christmas, when it's already over. When I got home, I had a piece of cheese cake, yet again. It's just so good! I'm going to do some school stuff and have something to eat now, and then I'm going to go to bed.
